With A Little Help From My Friends

Hey e-pals!

Ok so here's the deal, the lil' startup I work for (invoke media) is a contender in the popvox people's choice awards for '09! Yay!

The categories we're in are products I was lucky enough to design branding for (HootSuite and memelabs)! So the personal attachment factor is profound!

Of course, we need votes to win, and this is where you come in. The ability to take 45 seconds out of your busy schedules and help us out would be something we shall remember and celebrate for years to come.

You'll be asked to sign up when you press the lovely 'vote' button, but signup takes literally less than a minute.

We're in 3 categories:

Best startup
Best Social Media App
and
UGC Contest Platform

So click those links and vote, dear friends! Vote like the wind, and there'll be cupcakes for all!*

For You, The Fans - Part 5

Well ladies and gents, it's been quite a journey; we've been educated on the ways of the pneumothorax, met Britney Vikings, and shared methods of creating cirque du soleil themed parties. Alas! This is the final post, we've reached number five of five, quinque ex quinque, sista på listan - if you will! But let's not part on bad terms.

The final entry in the top 5 keywords and phrases is something enjoyable, something I'm sure we can all appreciate:
Snow? FedEx jokes? The list must surely be endless!

5) Snow and FedEx Jokes - (23 hits in 2 months)

My image of FedEx is slightly skewed...An interesting topic, to be sure. It seems our poor FedEx deliveryperson (how PC!) is just someone we all love to hate - and when people hate something, it's only natural to create jokes about it. Well, I racked my brains for a whole seven minutes and all I could come up with the following joke. I emplore you all to help me out here, I'm sure there are some firecrackers out there waiting to be unleashed ... for now though:

Why did the FedEx delivery man cross the road?

Because it was five o'clock on a weekday, and he was going home because FedEx's delivery hours are as ludicrously unrealistic as a pony dancing the cha-cha.

BAM! How's that for hilarious?

Ok, in all seriousness (if that's possible here), I did a quick google search, and came across one which made me giggle:

What do you get if you cross FedEx and UPS?

FedUp. (Rimshot please!)

I'm here all week folks. All week. I also realise there are no jokes about snow here, and as this post is about 'snow and FedEx jokes' that's kinda lame, but I'm just not in a witty mood today, so I leave it to the comments section for more hilarity.

Thanks for reading, and stay tuned as we return to your regular programming.
