So this morning I'm off to Hong Kong. It's to be the start of rather sudden and unexpected travel for a week. Though this isn't exactly a holiday. The reason behind the quasi-sojourn, is because of illness, to be exact. The illness encumbering a very old family friend of my grandparents.
We thought it was probably a good time to go and see him, because with all the things happening back home soon it may have become impossible for us all to go away together again.
So, for a week, Jimzip Productions will be unmanned! (I have left sole control of operations to the schizophrenic eraser-loving turtle that lives beside my desk..) I look forward to going, and also to arriving back in a week, so to those of you that live in Melbourne, enjoy the Grand Final, and see you soon!

Music for all!
Through the rumour mills it flowed, first reported by Forbes online, the iTunes music store is due to open in the land of Oz on the 3rd of October..
I hope it's true this time, though I'm also disappointed because two of the record labels won't be signing up for it, Warner Music, and Sony.. Which really puts a dampner on the whole 'let's buy some songs' thing.. What pricks.. Anyway, it's still cool, and those two labels will soon realise that they've been halfwits, and sign up anyway after a couple of months.
In other news, well, the main page of jimzip.com has had a facelift, and I'm in the process of updating the Postbox too, so stay tuned.
Also, I've recently been watching a fantastic American series which a friend introduced me to (insert anonymous plug for Luke here), after the pilot I was hooked, and I can only pray that it's going to come out on Australian TV because so far, five episodes in it looks to be a great series with a lot of potential. Check out Veronica Mars. If you love a bit of a mystery and really fast-paced episodes, plus a healthy dose of character development mostly depicted by well-placed flashbacks, make sure you don't miss it. But don't rely on the aforementioned link to explain it, their descriptions always suck, just you see it for yourself..

Of this, that and the other.
Okey dokey. (Or Oldy Foldy as my phone seems to like writing..)
So a couple of quick updates, firstly, the postbox is now a little more Internet Explorer friendly... I know I know, I hate it too and I tried to ditch everything to do with it, but really, I just can't stand to see my page in pain every time it loads in IE.. Heheh. Uh, anyway, it still seems to have that one error at the top, but the rest is now fine.
Also, it may be a good time to say that I'm now suffering from lack of sleep, and will be gradually spiralling into that weird state between resting and being active.. So, acting, as I like to say.. wait..
I'll leave it there!

So much to do in so little time!
39 days to go before my major project is due..
I think I will be staying at home for the next couple of weeks. I'm just now in the process of rigging up the main character, but enough about that, you can read the details in the postbox.
I gotta say, I'm excited about the Apple Expo which will be held in Paris, in 16 days. There's always something awesome waiting in the wings to be announced by Steve.. So much speculation this year as to what it'll be, new Powerbooks, iTunes 5.. Well, that's what I'm hoping anyway..
Anyway, enough talk, I've gotta get back to work! See ya!
