The rude squirrel, the mushroom children, and the school bus.

We went camping two weeks ago, here are some pictures of the weekend.
Before we get into that though, I must first explain..

So, we (Mike, Agata, three other ladies and myself) found ourselves in a beautiful location up in the mountains directly next to a river, (we made camp around 100m away..) and had a wonderful two days.
The only drawback was a bunch of school-kids that rocked up and.. well rocked out. They were blaring ACDC and Metallica from their cars for a full day, and let me tell you, when you're in the mountains hunting serenity, that's so not cool.. Then they offered us mushrooms.. So remind me again why you went camping guys? ...

Anyway, on the second day, a couple more members arrived in a school bus.. I was worried that we'd acidentally set up camp on the local cub-scouts headquarters, but no, it was just another friend of Mike's who had purchased an ex-government bus painted with Green-Party slogans and had arrived with his Swedish girlfriend to set up camp downstream a little. Ah, of course, how obvious! I hear you shout..

Another slight problem was a rather inquisitive squirrel which we couldn't seem to get rid of.. He was really quite the character, and even hopped onto one of the girls' legs and stole a hotdog bun from us..
He escaped unscathed, but we'll be prepared for next time..

All in all, a pleasant weekend in Squamish, I hope we can do it again sometime!
