Rent, jobs, and how cellphones cooked an egg..

Never let it be said that I didn't warn you about the dangers of cell phones. My mum often reports having hot ears after using them, (and I'm talking strictly temperature here) but I can't believe how dangerous they actually are.
So, to all my friends and family, make sure you SMS rather than call people all the time! Seriously! Uh.. just read the article..

On another topic that's somewhat distantly related, I managed to lose both my cell and my debit card in one day! How is that possible? Becuase it's me that's how. Luckily, both were recovered before the rent was due this month.. (And I mean, 3 hours before it was due..)

So what's in important news? Well, you heard it here first, but the Lemon Lime vodcast will not be filmed on location at the Canada Day Rockfest. Nor will we be interviewing Hey Ocean this week. Why? Because *breathes deeply* the rockfest was to be held on a naval base, unfortunately some General or whatnot in Toronto got wind of it, and basically shut the whole event down.
Now, I ask you this, who has the power to stop people from celebrating Canada day? The military, it appears.. Anyway, so the event has been cancelled, however, we will still be bringing you a Canada Day special of the LLV, so let's not get all teary!

Lastly, there's something new in the works. You know what I mean, and you know how I work, so you'll just have to wait and see..
