So last night was pub night.
At about 8:00 I left home and made my way down the street to the Wolf and Hound, a traditional Irish pub nearby, where Celtic music wofting cheerily through the homey little establishment is played three nights a week by local enthusiasts. It's really quite cool to listen to.
It started out as just six of us, two girls I hadn't yet met were there also. And after an hour or so three more guys turned up.
As it turned out, one of the girls I was speaking to found out that I was interested in promotions, (or, she thought I was) and offered me a small job next week promoting beer Downtown. I said 'sounds great!', and I'm not exactly sure why.. (Something about me and two Black Russians I think..) Anyway it could be fun, and if I like it maybe there'll be more work for me.In the meantime however, I'm annoyed to say, I'm searching for another job. Now don't get me wrong, American Eagle is good fun, and the people are great..

Ok, do get me wrong the pay is crap, and at current I can't survive on what I'm earning there, especially with the hours I'm putting in. So the only options are to get another job on top (hahah..) or ditch it and find something else. Much as I hate to do that.And that leads me promptly to the subject of photos!
So here are a couple more shots (and a movie* of me somewhat clumsily boarding..) from whistler, enjoy!

Hi jimbo thanks for the birthday call, 5days early. Damian has been well behaved this weekend,even though he has had two parties and the equivelent of a darrryyllleeeee sweet shop sugar intake. we love all your news, its very funny. we miss having to manipulate ourselves around you in the kitchen while you are cooking up your meal for one, stepping on the cat just isnt the same!!!! We have hardly seen warrick this weekend ,he has been on a lite'n'easy liquid binge of a weekend but has managed more than a few hours in the sun, ( all up about 24 hours solid drinking in the sun) he is starting to look like a male version of cathy freeman. The weather is still hot, its great!!!!!! School hols for me next week YAHOO!!!!!! Commonwealth games........good excuse really. Well jimbo the washing awaits and the whipping up of a shepherds pie for dinner, we'll send you some over in a doggy bag, that's if there's any left!!!!! Hey Jimmy! Thought I'd finally catch up with the 21st century and post my first ever blog... sorry, I've been slack. I actually constantly hear everything that is going on in your world anyway from Phil, Mum, Lissy, Jane, Bea, Peter, Chino etc. Everything looks as if it's going great over there, I'm so jealous of that snow too, that was sooo good when we were all there. It sounds as though you've made friends with half of Canada! All you need now is Army and Air Force.. collect the set! I got back from Japan two and a half weeks ago and damn! it was incredible. I recon you should definitely get over there at some point and find some more furniture the Japanese room you modelled! The people are amazing, and the snow was unbelievable, you would love it. Anyway weather's good here but I think that it's cooling down a bit this week, the pool was heated to like 40ºC on the weekend, by accident...but not, (can you block Phil from seeing this?) We had the ultimate Billy Madison day, it was fun. Anyway I'm starting second week of uni this week and that's about all the news that I can gather at the moment. haha, i bet u feel loved today! well i just thought id add to the abundance of comments and make my presence felt :) r u feeling it? haha. well im sitting at my desk and writing like 3 thousand practise essays for my english sac tomorrow and im finding this an extremely effective way of procrastinating. Hooray for procrastination! Im in the process of sending u some scanned photos too although it may take a few days because my life has been ruined with school work! stupid school! But oh my god im on holidays in like a week! WOOHOOO! im gonna party like its 1999! I call u and we'll discuss it. Anyhoo i better be goin cause these essays arent going to write themselves! (omg how good would it be if they could!)

I just came back from Bizzarre Movie Night at my friend Val's. We watched a movie about Mutant Spanish cripples who kidnap a princess, strange clips from the 80's (be thankful our memories of the 80's are few) and my personal favorite; 'How to Seduce Women through Hypnosis".

The snow looks amazing and I am sure you will find a better job the standard pay is very low no matter what job you do in both USA and Canada.
